Waterways, Forested Islands, Rowing & Sailing Clubs are located at Tigre - named after the jaguars (
Tigres) that were hunted there in earlier times.
Located on an island formed from flooding of streams and rivers in 1820 , Tigre is a tourist and weekend attraction and is only 30Km North of Buenos Aires and makes a great reprieve for urban life.. It now has a permanent local community.
